Don’t lie to your mother!!!

DON’T LIE TO YOUR MOTHER

Mrs Jenkins comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner, who lives with a female roommate Belinda. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how pretty Anthony’s roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more curious.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between them than met the eye. Reading his mom’s thoughts, Anthony volunteered, “I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Belinda and I are just roommates.”

About a week later, Belinda came to Anthony saying, “Ever since your mother came to dinner, I’ve been unable to find the silver sugar bowl. You don’t suppose she took it, do you?”

“Well, I doubt it, but I’ll email her, just to be sure.” So he sat down and wrote:

Dear Mom, I’m not saying that you ‘did’ take the sugar bowl from my apartment, I’m not saying that you ‘did not’ take it. But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.
Love, Anthony

Several days later, Anthony received a response email from his mother, which read:

Dear Son, I’m not saying that you ‘do’ sleep with Belinda, and I’m not saying that you ‘do not’ sleep with her. But the fact remains that if she were sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.
Love, Mom

Lesson of the day: Don’t lie to your mother!!!

Facts on Credit Bureaus

November 13th, 2005

Do you know that credit bureaus are not a part of the federal government? They are a multi billion dollar industry and are in the business to make money. But they are governed by the Federal laws and will have to necessarily abide by the rules. They earn profit like any other business by selling credit reports to US citizens.

The FACT Act gives the Federal right to every US citizen to get a free copy of the file every year from each of the three credit reporting agencies.

My views about problems of indiscipline among students

October 23rd, 2005

I would like to express my views about the problems of indiscipline among students through this blog.

Schools and colleges were once thought to be the holy place of learning. But modern students have profaned the sanctity of these holy places. They have defiled their atmosphere. Schools and colleges have now become hot-beds of indiscipline. The modern students do not care a fig for their studies. They are not serious in the class room. They have no respect for their teachers. They simply want to pass examinations by fair or foul means. Mass-scale copying in examinations has become very common these days. Modern students are strike-mongers. They indulge in acts of indiscipline and violence. They look for excuses to create violence.

But students alone are not to blame for this ugly state of affairs. Young students learn from the example of their teachers. Teachers of today are not dedicated to their jobs. They run after money. Therefore, it is nothing strange if students follow the examples of their teachers.

Anyone can post a comment here and share views in order to re-shape the future of the students.

Welcome to my city, San Francisco

September 23rd, 2005

Hi, this is so wonderful to have my own blog and do something personal on it :D . I wish to style this blog in such a way so that it depicts a true picture of me and my living. Most of the people in the Debt Consolidation Care community are acquainted with me. For those, who have just made your first visit in this avenue, I am pleased to introduce myself as the moderator of the forums. Anyways, let’s keep that side of the story away from this blog. Let’s do some fun in this blog. 8)

The view from the north angle of Coit Tower towards Alcatraz. A busy marina at Fisherman’s Wharf is seen along with the busy Pier 39

I live in San Francisco and trust me guys, it is a nature’s paradise. It is filled with all the hilly, green areas and surrounded by water. This city is awesome and a treat to your eyes. Those coming here for the first time will be fascinated by its beauty to see the long streets climbing up and plunging down the steep hills. Wherever you turn your eyes, the view is phenomenal.

The view from the western angle of Coit Tower towards the Golden Gate Bridge

Come besides the water body and you will have a chance to see two of the best crafted bridges in the world. The Golden Gate and the rugged peaks of Marin County are the perfect photogenic locations for any photographer who wants to capture it in the books. Have you tried mountain-biking here? Come and enjoy, it will be a real fun.

San Francisco is very special to me for the reason of its ethnic diversity that I see in the street life fully crowded. No matter from wherever you are coming, but you will find it like a home away from a home. You will get a tender feeling of the delicacies of Chinatown, Japan town and Italian North Beach area

This view is from the top of the Kearny Street, on Telegraph Hill towards the Filbert Street. Washington Square is seen along the street. Saints Peter and Paul Church on the right-hand side of the road are a few of the famous churches.

Want to see a live roller-coaster street, come to Russian Hill. You will be wondered at the full panorama of the Bay from Ina Coolbrith Park. This is the highest point and you will really love to have a snap with a background like this on a clear day. Your heart will keep beating enormously. If you wish to capture the whole bay, there is one point known as the Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill. Standing at the observation platform, you will be able to have 360 degree views of this charming city.

The view from the southern angle of Coit Tower towards San Francisco’s busiest financial area. Transamerica Pyramid is right there at the center.

You can get access to this tower after you have climbed the Filbert Steps from Montgomery Street. God has made this world so beautiful and I am blessed to see a part of his true craftsmanship. It’s a feeling that you have climbed half way to the heaven while you are reaching to this tower. In your way to paradise, you will be amazed to see a few houses and private gardens on your way.
